What to Expect

Meiro is a small, thoughtful pottery studio built around good making and good teaching. We keep classes intimate, and care deeply about the learning experience. If you value craft and a respectful studio environment, you’ll feel at home here.

❋ What we are looking for

  • Strong experience in wheel throwing

  • Able to confidently fix and troubleshoot students’ pieces, not just throw well yourself

  • Experience teaching or guiding beginner students

  • Clear communicator with patience and compassion

  • Please note: this role is for experienced potters (minimum 2 years in throwing) only. We do not accept applicants without solid throwing experience.

❋ Schedule

Mainly weekends, 12:00-19:00

❋ Location

London, N7 9DP

Teach pottery wheel throwing classes

  • Load and unload kilns

  • Glazing and basic studio maintenance

  • Cleaning and keeping the studio organised

❋ Job Type

Part Time

❋ Pay

£13–£18 per hour, depending on experience and skill level

❋ Class Size

Maximum of 5 students per class
